Delicious dumplings. It's a great spot to have a snack. My son enjoyed the dumplings. It's warm setting with an amazing record collection. Plenty of seating and family friendly. I highly recommend.

Came here on a late Sunday with the husband; not many places were open. Its been awhile since we had these Dumplings and we found out when talking to the person at the counter it's the same one we ate whenever we go to Bellingham. They get the dumplings from there. Price is quite reasonable. We got everything it in and got one potatoes and one beef. The sour cream balanced out everything. Quick service, simple menu. Since it was Sunday, it was relatively quiet for downtown. We enjoyed our food with the old fashion record player. Cute Little place. Good food. Fast service. Since it was Sunday, free downtown parking. Would recommend and will come back.

Beef or potato how easy of a choice is that? Then you put on the yummy stuff. I love the sour cream, vinegar, Sriracha, and curry.

You might be wondering what a pelmeni dumpling is. Pelmeni are round dough dumplings with a juicy meat filling and are a classic Russian comfort food. They are made with a simple dough of flour, water, eggs, and salt, and are typically stuffed with a filling of ground pork, chicken, turkey, or beef seasoned with onions and salt and pepper. Pelmeni are boiled and then served with red wine vinegar, black pepper, and melted butter. Mushroom, sauerkraut, and vegetable fillings are also common in certain regions of Russia. This place served beef or potato dumplings, your choice. They were boiled then seasoned with butter and cilantro. There was sour cream in the fridge that you helped yourself to. All in all, they were delicious and unique and flavorful.

This totally hit the spot on a cool and drizzly day walking around down town. Super friendly service, our order was fairly quick to get made even though everything is cooked to order, and the dumplings were awesome. I don't have the slightest clue if these are spot on to what is considered "traditional" but I do know they were quite good. We would come back again in a heartbeat.

Delicious, simple and unique. Great records to vibe music...wide open space tho I don't think there is a usable restroom?

I recall going to Pel Meni many years ago, and a different location. I happened to drive by this spot one night on my at back from the cabin, it was open late, the lights were on and it looked super inviting. I FINALLY got to stop by and see what this place is all about....:and I ADORE it! TBH it didn't really feel like I was in Anchorage anymore, and it was a nice vibe. The dumplings were fantastic, I asked the guy prepping the food to make me his favorites and he did not disappoint. The place was BUSY, lots of people coming and going, a definite spot for the bar hoppers. The hidden gem of this little dumpling spot though.....is 100% the record collection! As soon as the record playing was done I was told it was cool to put anything I wanted on. I browsed the collection and picked out a few to choose from when it was my turn. Better than a jukebox!! I'm a total sucker for vinyl and was content to hang out, people watch, eat good food and listen to records. I will absolutely be going back.
